We use your data on the basis of your consent, given when you sign up, connect a broker or submit a form, and for purposes the law allows without consent, such as meeting legal duties or responding to a court order.
You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@quantpower.tech or using the settings in your account. Withdrawing consent stops future use for that purpose. It does not affect what was done before, and we may not be able to provide the service without some data, such as a verified mobile number or a broker connection.
You can stop marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP, or telling us.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
- Your broker: to place your orders and read your account data. Your broker is responsible for its own use of your data.
- Exchanges, through your broker: your orders reach the exchange only through your broker, with the details the exchange and your broker require.
- Service providers: companies that host our systems, send SMS, WhatsApp or email messages, process payments, provide the AI behind Quanty or measure website use. They act on our instructions. Our subprocessors page lists them.
- Authorities: SEBI, the exchanges, tax authorities, law enforcement or courts, when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor: if our business is sold or merged, under the same protections as in this policy.
6. Where your data is stored
Your data, including backups, is stored on cloud servers in India: Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region) and DigitalOcean (Bangalore region). Where your broker hosts QuantPower in its own infrastructure, the data for that setup is also held there, under your broker's policies.
Some service providers process data outside India. For example, the questions you ask Quanty are processed by Anthropic, which provides the AI behind Quanty through its Claude API. Under the DPDP Act, we send personal data outside India only to countries the Government of India has not restricted, and with safeguards in our contract with that provider. Do not type passwords, OTPs or other secrets into Quanty.
7. How long we keep it
| Data | How long |

| Order, strategy and audit logs | As long as SEBI, the exchanges or your broker require |
| Invoices and payment records | Eight years, as company and tax law require |
| Broker session tokens | Until the session ends, at the latest before the next trading day |
| Leads who did not sign up | Up to 12 months after the last contact |
| Website and security logs | 12 months, or longer where the law requires |
8. How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls, separate environments for live systems and regular reviews of who can see personal data. Only staff who need data for their work can access it. No system is perfectly secure; if a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and report it to the authorities, including CERT-In and, once the DPDP Rules apply, the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires. Our QuantPower security page describes our approach.
9. Your rights

- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with,
- correct, complete or update your data,
- erase your data, unless we must keep it by law,
- withdraw your consent,
- name another person to exercise your rights if you die or cannot act, and
