Platform Status

The QuantPower status page reports whether the QuantPower platform and its connections to supported brokers are working, and what to do when they are not. It covers the services QuantPower runs. Exchanges and brokers report on their own systems.

Key point
Your positions and funds are always held with your broker. If QuantPower has a problem during market hours, you can still check and exit every position in your broker's own app.

What this page reports

Your own strategies run in QuantPower on your own computer or VPS, through your own API key and the static IP you registered with your broker. This page cannot see that machine, its internet connection or your broker session, so check them yourself if your strategies stop and this page shows no problem.

Status labels

  • Operating normally: no known problems.
  • Degraded: the service works, but slower than usual or with some errors.
  • Outage: the service is not working. Manage open positions in your broker's app until it is restored.
  • Broker or exchange issue: the problem is at the broker or the exchange, not at QuantPower. Your broker's own app or status page will show the same problem.
  • Maintenance: planned work, done outside market hours.

How you get incident updates

When the QuantPower team confirms a problem, it posts a notice on this page with the time it started, the services affected and what you should do. The notice is updated until the problem is resolved, and then marked as resolved. Notices are also shared in the QuantPower community on Telegram.

There are no uptime figures on this page. If a problem affected you and no notice appears, report it so the team can check.

If you have open positions during an outage

  1. Open your broker's app and check your positions and orders there.
  2. Cancel or exit anything that needs attention. The positions are held with your broker, so you can always manage them directly.
  3. Once the status is back to normal, check that QuantPower shows the same positions as your broker before you restart any strategy.

When the problem is on your side

Many stoppages start outside QuantPower. Check these before you report a problem:

  • Your computer or VPS: it must stay on, online and logged in to your broker during market hours.
  • The daily login: brokers end API sessions every day, so log in again with two-factor authentication each morning.
  • Your static IP: if your internet provider or VPS changes your IP address, orders are rejected until you register the new one with your broker.
  • Your API key: some brokers make keys expire, and a renewed key has to be entered again.

Our guide to fixing broker connection problems covers login errors, rejected orders and strategies that do not trade.

Scheduled maintenance

Maintenance is done outside market hours and announced in the community at least a day in advance.

Frequently asked questions

Does a QuantPower outage close my positions?

No. Positions stay open with your broker, along with any orders already placed there. An outage only stops QuantPower from sending new orders, so manage open positions in your broker's app until the service is back.

Why did my strategy stop when this page showed no problem?

The usual causes are on the trader's side: the computer or VPS was off or offline, the day's broker login was not done, or the static IP changed. Check those first, then contact support.

Does this page cover exchange outages?

No. NSE, BSE and MCX publish their own notices, and your broker tells its clients about problems on its side. This page reports only on QuantPower's services and its broker connections.

How soon is a problem posted here?

As soon as the team has confirmed it. A notice says which services are affected and what you should do, and it stays until the problem is resolved.
